By the end of this week, you can see your team information on the app along with your practice schedule. OTTO SPORT APP:
The main communication from Coaches to parents will be through the OTTO Sport App. Download the app from the app store and use your OTTO Sport log in (the one you registered your child through).
Team rosters are being prepared now so please give us time to put teams together and contact coaches. If you do not see your team on the OTTO Sport app or are having issues you may contact us at nbscreg@optimum.net and we can direct you to your team and team information.
LOCATION:
All games will be held at North Brunswick Community Park. http://www.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
NBSC monitors the weather closely. We may need to cancel a game or a practice due to weather. If this happens, we will notify you via OTTO Sport and send an email blast out. Friday games will be added if we need to make up a rain date.
EQUIPMENT:
Each player is responsible to bring their own;
1. Soccer Cleats (Be sure they are soccer. No other cleats will be allowed)
2. Shin guards
3. Soccer socks. (They should cover the shin guard)
NBSC will provide a jersey for each player. Little Kickers (U4/5) will receive their own ball.
TEAM PARENT:
Our professional soccer trainers run all soccer practices and coach all games. We are asking the Team parent to manage all OTTO Sport App communications, be present at practices, and to help the coach/trainer at the games.
Due to the high number of parents who volunteer as team parent, we are only able to select a few. If you are selected as team parent you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please confirm your commitment as team parent asap. If you do not receive that email, you were not selected and will need to fulfill your work bond by volunteering in the Snack Shack or the Youth Sports Festival.
Directions on how to use the app as a team manager are in this link;
WORK BOND:
The work bond is a way for NBSC to keep soccer costs down for the community. In order to compete the work bond this year we are asking parents complete 1 of the following 3 options;
1. SNACK SHACK- Volunteer 1 shift (2 hours) at the Snack Shack. Sign-ups for Snack Shack are located at the Snack Shack. You can select your time and date. The day of your shift, please report to the Snack Shack. You will be required to sign in and out for your shift. Snack Shack assignments include but are not limited to; Snack Shack host, garbage field pick up, set up/take down soccer equipment, etc.
2. TEAM PARENT: Volunteer as a Team Parent. At the end of the season will confirm you fulfilled the required duties and refund your work bond. Team parents will be required to sign the game card that day, confirming they helped out.
3. YOUTH SPORTS FESTIVAL- Complete 1 shift at the Youth Sports Festival in June. Youth Sport Festival sign ups will be sent to parents though email in May. You will be required to sign in and out of your shift at the Youth Sports Festival. Once completed, you will receive your work bond back.
SNACK SHACK:
We are excited to announce that our Snack Shack is now Cashless. You may purchase food, snacks and beverages using your Credit Card, Apple Pay or other cashless means. Our Snack Shack is located at the center of the park between fields #3 and #5.
Thank you for your support of North Brunswick Soccer Club. We look forward to seeing you on the field. If you have any questions, please contact us at nbscreg@optimum.net. Be sure to look at us on Facebook at North Brunswick Soccer Club.
